Georgia Food Handler Practice Test

Georgia issues no food handler card. Instead, most food service establishments need a Certified Food Safety Manager, and the rules require every food employee to be trained, including in food allergy awareness. This free practice test mixes questions on Georgia's rules (the manager requirement, the person in charge, inspection grades, and the 2025 changes) with the food safety questions every accredited course covers.

How it works: the full 30-question test includes all 10 questions on Georgia's rules, mixed with questions from our core bank of 98; the quick 15-question round includes 5 of them. Questions and answer order are shuffled every time, and your answers stay in your browser.

Does your employer want a food handler certificate? It comes from an accredited course, not a practice test. Food Handler Classes (EduClasses) ($7.00) · 360training (Learn2Serve) ($9.99)

How the real Georgia exam works

Georgia has no state food handler exam. If your employer wants a certificate, you take an ANAB-accredited food handler course and pass its exam. The Certified Food Safety Manager takes a proctored manager exam accredited by ANSI to Conference for Food Protection standards, such as ServSafe Manager. Our Georgia Food Handler Card: What the State Rules Actually Require walks through each step, with sources.

Want more practice away from the screen? The Food Handler Practice Exam Pack has 100 questions on the core food safety rules every state tests, as four printable exams of 25 with an answer key at the back. It doesn't cover state-specific rules; this page's test does.
