Florida requires food service employees to complete training from a DBPR-approved program within 60 days of hire, and it lasts three years. This free practice test mixes questions on Florida's rules (the deadlines, what counts, and the manager requirements) with the food safety questions every approved course covers.
How it works: the full 30-question test includes all 10 questions on Florida's rules, mixed with questions from our core bank of 98; the quick 15-question round includes 5 of them. Questions and answer order are shuffled every time, and your answers stay in your browser.

How the real Florida exam works
Florida has no state food handler exam and no state card: you complete a program approved by the Division of Hotels and Restaurants, often through your employer, and the provider issues your certificate. Managers are different: they must pass an accredited food protection manager exam within 30 days, and that certificate lasts five years. Our Florida Food Handler Training: What You Need and How to Get It walks through each step, with sources.
