How the real MAST exam works

After you finish a course of at least three hours from an LCB-certified provider, in person or online, you take the Liquor and Cannabis Board's standardized exam. It's closed book, and you need 80% to pass. Your provider then issues and mails your Class 12 or Class 13 permit, which is good for five years. Our Washington Bartender License (MAST Permit): Class 12 vs. 13 and How to Get It covers which class you need, the 60-day deadline, and what to keep on you at work.

These are our own practice questions, written from Washington's liquor laws, the LCB's rules, and LCB guidance. FoodHandlerGear is not affiliated with the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board or any MAST provider.
